The Ministry of Social Affairs advertised for an "emergency and patient app", before the Chamber of Commerce and the German Economic Association for a "personnel app".

 Vienna / Aschheim - The German Wirecard partner company that wanted to serve the former turquoise-blue government with a "Refugee Card" also advertised other products in Austria. According to the website of Ebcon ("European consumer advice") there were presentations of a "personal app" before the Chamber of Commerce and the German Federal Economic Association. The Ministry of Social Affairs should be warmed for an "emergency and patient app".

 There was a rumor about the "Refugee Card" around the National Security Council on Tuesday. There the ÖVP had actually wanted to bring the topic of Wirecard onto the wallpaper. Nevertheless, several representatives including Chancellor Sebastian Kurz - according to his office for health reasons - did not appear at the meeting, which led to outrage from the opposition and the event being canceled.

Chancellery reportedly showed no interest.

 The rumor, which has since been confirmed, could not be addressed in the Security Council, that a refuge app with the company Ebcon, a partner of Wirecard, was presented under Herbert Kickl in the then liberal Ministry of the Interior. This should function as a kind of ATM card to avoid difficulties in opening a bank account and on the other hand to prevent transfers to the respective country of origin of the refugees.

The company first presented itself in the chancellery, as the STANDARD reported on Thursday. On the company's website there is an "Invitation to Expert Hearing" on February 19, 2018. The Chancellor's Office told APA that no interest had been shown and the Ministry of the Interior was referred to. According to Ebcon, the presentation took place there on July 3, 2018 - including "high-ranking representatives of all relevant specialist departments of the Austrian ministries".

The German company is also boasting about other dates in Austria. An "Emergency and Patient App" was reportedly presented to the Austrian Ministry of Health on May 22, 2018, at that time under the direction of Beate Hartinger-Klein (FPÖ). According to the website, the "Personal 4.0 - Find, retain and motivate employees" app was presented to the Economic Association on April 18 of the same year, and to the Chamber of Commerce on June 15.
